Dear friends!

I would like to inform you that the First Annual “Georgia Ballooning Open” will be take place in Tbilisi from October 5 through 10, 2006.
Within The Black Sthe limits of this sporting event, a national stage of “The Black sea Cup” is to be drawn.

The National Aeronautics Federation is pleased to extend the invitation to all balloonists interested in participating in this competition and make acquaintance with a new sky and land.

Participants should be prepared to bear the following expenses:
Accommodations (hotel, including twice-a-day meals);
Insurance fee;
Fuel (propane gas);
Balloon-associated vehicles, including gas;
Ground crew (two people per team);
Topographic maps.

The schedule of events is as follows:
Number of competition flights – three (3)
Day 1
Morning – arrival, check-in, registration (examination of pilots’ documents and balloon testing);
Evening – Opening ceremony, briefing, banquet
Day 2
Morning – Competition flights
Evening – Competition flights
Day 3
Morning – Competition flights
Evening – Fiesta Nightlight
Day 4
Morning – Sightseeing tour of the city of Tbilisi
Evening –Awards Ceremony Banquet
Day 5
Departure

The President of Georgia is expected to take part in the Opening Ceremony (subject to schedule availability).

In connection with the above, please submit the following information:
1. Total number of your balloons taking part in the competition. Balloon class, name, photo, side number (if any).
2. Overall number of balloonists taking part in the competition, their names and photos.
